Commissions are still open and stuffs. I'm looking for a new job right now and getting things in my gallery would help me get art jobs here too.

 Half body (fullbody chibis, super simple characters and simple banners belong here)

 +1/2 (before background) for two characters [so a sketch with two characters would be 10+5=$15]

 Fullbody (detailed banners belong here, digital paintings would go under cell shaded with complex background)

I’ve been applying for all sorts of art jobs on DA, but I haven’t gotten anything yet.

I am just going to go ahead and say that I’m taking commissions (digital only, must pay through paypal). I am working on a picture price chart and am going to put that up later, but until then, note me if you want anything and I will tell you how much it is.

Lately I have been lurking the Job Offers forum and applying for everything I think I'm mildly qualified for. I made a thread in the Job Services forum linking my commission journal. All this, and still nothing. :C
Is there anything wrong with my commission journal that would be turning people off?

I keep saying I should put finished drawings on here, but then I never have much inspiration and then I get distracted ;-;. I am in the process of moving right now, so lots of packing and sorting to do.
I just finished sorting through a big pile of drawings from the beginning of middle school to now. By 'sorting', I mean 'looking at it, cringing, and putting it in the recycle bin never to be seen again'.
SO MUCH NARUTO IN HIGH SCHOOL, LIKE, THAT MUST HAVE BEEN THE ONLY THING I DREW OHGODWHY. I CAN'T BELIEVE I MADE A NARUTO 'OC' THAT LOVED SASUKE BECAUSE HE WAS ALL DARK AND SHIT, AND SO DID MY FRIEND, AND I WOULD DRAW LITTLE COMICS ABOUT US COMPETING OVER SASUKE. OHGOD SO EMBARRASING WHY.
I also made a list of the original characters I drew, maybe I'll redraw/revamp them and give them an actual story, because I would just draw characters and think 'this guy looks kind of cool' and didn't give them a proper outfit, let alone a story.
Though, there was something I liked about them (not the art, it was horrible). It was the imagination behind it all, it made me realize that lately I have felt it was missing, I miss it so much.
I feel like the reason it is gone is because I have been trying too hard to make art to just put in my portfolio, or just for money, or just to get popular/recognized. I am going to stop doing that.
I am going to draw because it is fun, because I want to give life to my characters that I have neglected, and probably make some new ones, too.
Here's hoping it goes well, and that I get my imagination back even better than before!
